They cost between $32-$47, come in 4 designs and feature a fine iridium nib. If made by their Japanese or German counterparts, the price would be 3x to 5x higher. The only catch? Allow around 4-7 weeks for delivery. Get them on their Aliexpress or Etsy store.

8. Meruperu Cat Santoku Knife

The santoku is world-renown as a Japanese designed general purpose chef’s knife. This one is incredibly good value and combines versatility with cute cat images throughout the knife. Made of molybdenum stainless steel, it’s super sharp and comes in at 11.7 inches of total length, The obvious trade-off? For US$34.80, its manufactured in China and requires more regular sharpening than the high end stuff. Available on Amazon.

9. ACEO Originals By Nicole Wong

Nicole Wong is an illustrator and ACEO artist based in Fall River, Massachusetts. She has illustrated more than twenty children’s books, including artwork for the biggest publishers such as Houghton-Mifflin, Pearson and McGraw-Hill. Her ACEO originals start from around US$ 36. 11. Ceramic Cat Incense Holder By Nippon Kodo

Nippon Kodo is a household name in the incense world. This is their deluxe cat incense holder and it looks perfect (or rather, purrfect). It takes both stick and cone incense. At around 4 inches tall, it doesn’t take up much space and is quite small. If using longer incense sticks, just break them up to fit. In our opinion? In our opinion, this is as good as it gets – the creme de la creme. Although not a limited edition, stocks are extremely limited as Nippon Kodo doesn’t mass produce them. 1. Swatch Comicat & Minou Minou Watches

Swatch has made many cat themed watches in the past, but most have been discontinued and your option is to patiently wait for them to turn up in Ebay or Chrono24. These two are still available off the Swatch website directly, at the time of writing. You might have to change your country location as these models don’t show up on the US site.

2. Tabineko (Travelling Cat) A2 Sized Cat Prints

Tabineko is the brainchild of Toshinori Mori, an artist based out of Nagaoka, Japan. Basically it features two cats (a black and a calico) wandering through landscapes of modern Japan reminiscent of Kawase Hasui’s legendary woodblocks from long ago. If you know Hasui’s popularity in the West, Tabineko’s growing group of fans will come as no surprise. Their Etsy store is currently on break, but they’ll be back soon enough. Their A2 sized prints generally go for $70 and up. Here are some examples.

4. The Man Who Drew Cats By Rodney Dale

Louis Wain was probably the greatest and most celebrated cat illustrator of all time. He will be portrayed in an upcoming film by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch! Before that happens, learn about his heartwarming and tragic life story in this wonderful biography by Rodney Dale. This is the best book on Louis Wain and in hardcover no less. The result of the a collaboration between Casio and Japanese streetwear label BlackEyePatch, this looks like a regular G-Shock, but looks can be deceiving. For one thing, it is in the maneki-neko colors of green, gold, and pink. Secondly, when the illuminator is activated, the maneki-neko figure appears in the backlight. Other models in the series are mostly out of stock, so expect the same for this one and the price to steadily increase. $246 on Amazon.
